As a husband and wife team, we live in a tropical paradise called Fort Lauderdale, Florida where we enjoy naturally high levels of humidity, a year-round growing season, and a rainforest-like climate. Collecting anthuriums and tropical plants has always been a hobby for us and the more we collected the more we found ourselves outside tending to our ever growing garden. In August of 2020, we decided to start Lauderdale Aroid House as a way to share and sell our expansive collection. We recently had a private 29’ x 18’ x 20’ greenhouse built on our property and packed it full of rare and beautiful anthuriums, philodendrons, monsteras, hoyas, alocasia, homalomenas, cycads, carnivorous plants and any other exotic plants that catch our eye.
